Certified sustainable

We have been running the Hotel Restaurant Militärkantine sustainably since it opened in 2014: consistently organic, regional and seasonal cuisine, recognising the social responsibility of our staff and careful use of resources was and is not a marketing strategy, but our fundamental attitude.

We want to make a difference. Sustainability and social commitment are very important to the military canteen - which is why we describe ourselves as "beautifully sustainable", whereby we simply want to be sustainably beautiful. In order to continuously improve, we are involved in various areas, work together with various projects to protect the environment and people and have ourselves audited by independent bodies:

Cause We Care is an initiative of the Swiss climate protection foundation myclimate. We double your contribution for a more climate-neutral stay in our hotel and thus support a project that provides access to clean energy for communities in rural Vietnam through the construction of biogas plants. Swisstainable is the sustainability programme of Switzerland Tourism. It is a promise to pursue the 17 UN sustainability goals with the 2030 Agenda and provides guests with information about the commitment of the respective hotel business.
