General information and prices

Thank you very much for your interest. We have compiled the following information for you in order to provide you with as many answers as possible to your questions. However, we are also happy to answer your questions by telephone or in person. You can reach us on +41 71 279 10 00 from Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm. At schlafen@militaerkantine.ch you will usually receive an answer by the following day.

PRICES

1. Hotel rooms
   The current prices for the rooms can be found here. Cause we Care: we automatically charge Fr. 2.- / night for your climate-neutral stay. If you do not wish to contribute to climate protection, please let us know when booking or at the latest at check-in.
   
   
2. Halls
   The rent for the large hall is Fr. 400.00, for the old kitchen Fr. 200.00.
   
   
3. Conferences
   The conference flat rate of Fr. 95.00 per person includes
   - Room hire
   - Morning coffee break (coffee, croissants)
   - Lunch 3-course menu (excl. drinks)
   - Afternoon coffee break (coffee, fruit)
   - Mineral water all day
   
   Technical equipment (projection, flipchart, overhead projector, WLan, screens) The half-day flat rate of CHF 65.00 does not include a break and the room hire is for half a day. The seminar flat rate includes taxes and VAT and excludes the charge of CHF 2.00 / person for your CO2 neutral stay as part of the Cause we Care campaign. Together for climate protection and sustainability.
   
   
4. Infrastructure & Planning
   For conferences, seminars and retreats, one hour of set-up time and the provision of technical equipment (see below) is included. Further expenses will be charged at CHF 70.00/hour. The same applies to any dismantling. Set-up is free of charge for festive events.
   
   
5. Cleaning
   Final cleaning is included in the hire charges. In the event of soiling that leads to considerable additional work, we will charge cleaning costs of CHF 70 per hour. The military canteen is a non-smoking hotel. In the event of non-compliance, we will charge a lump sum of CHF 80.00 for the removal of odour emissions.
   
   
6. Food and drink
   We will be happy to put together a personalised offer to meet your requirements. As a general rule, the military canteen is responsible for catering. Children up to their 6th birthday eat free of charge, up to their 12th birthday they pay half price and from their 12th birthday we charge children as adults.
   
   
7. Extension
   We charge an extension fee of CHF 150.00 per hour.
